<p>A "yes" vote supports establishing new campaign contribution limits for campaigns for state and local offices, including:</p><ul><li>Individuals allowed to contribute up to $2,000 per election cycle to candidates, up to $4,000 for a joint governor and lieutenant governor ticket, or up to $5,000 for a political party, and</li><li>Political parties allowed to contribute up to $4,000 for candidates and $5,000 to other parties or political groups.</li></ul>

Who can register to vote?
To register in Alaska you must: be a United States citizen be at least 18 years old or will be within 90 days of completing your registration be an Alaska resident have not been convicted of a felony involving moral turpitude, unless your voting rights have been restorenot be registered to vote in another state unless you are willing to cancel your registration in that state

How do I vote if I'm in the military or live overseas?
Active-duty military, their families, and overseas citizens can register to vote and request their absentee ballot using the Federal Post Card Application (FPCA). The FPCA process is done by mail, but your state may offer other options to request and return ballots. Please contact your Absentee and Petition Office for more information about delivery and return methods, including email, fax, and state online portals. To follow the FPCA process:Fill out the Federal Post Card Application (FPCA), or download a copy. Your Absentee and Petition Office may have questions, so please provide an email address or phone number where they can reach you.Send the application to your Absentee and Petition Office.It is never too early to submit an FPCA! Please do so as soon as possible.Please fill out and send back your ballot as soon as you receive it.States begin mailing absentee ballots at least 45 days before Election Day. If you haven't received your ballot by 30 days before Election Day, contact your Absentee and Petition Office.If your ballot does not arrive after you submit your FPCA, contact your Absentee and Petition Office first. Then: You can still vote using the Federal Write-In Absentee Ballot (FWAB). Print, sign, and mail your FWAB to your Absentee and Petition Office.If you mail a FWAB and then receive your regular absentee ballot, you should complete and mail your absentee ballot also. Can I submit voter registration forms by mail?
Use the National Voter Registration FormPrint and fill out the National Voter Registration Form.Box 6 - ID Number: When registering by mail in Alaska, you are required to provide ONE of the following ID numbers: Alaska driver’s license; Alaska state ID; last four digits of your Social Security number.If you have not been issued any of these numbers, indicate that you do not have an ID number.If you submit a voter registration application by mail and you are not already registered to vote in Alaska, you must provide proof of identity. You may include a copy of your proof of identity with your application, or you must verify your identity the first time you vote. Acceptable forms include: driver’s license; state ID card; US passport; current and valid photo identification; birth certificate; Hunting and Fishing licenseBox 7 - Choice of Party: You are NOT required to register with a party to participate in Alaska primary elections.Box 8 - Race or Ethnic Group: Leave blank. This information is not required.Review the "Who can register to vote?" section above and check that you're eligible.Sign the form.Send the completed form to your Regional Elections Office.If you are registering to vote for the first time in your jurisdiction and are mailing your registration application, federal law requires you to show proof of identification the first time you vote.
