Lawmakers Propose Ban on Tianeptine and Unapproved Dietary Supplements

Congress has introduced legislation to ban tianeptine and other unapproved drugs from being marketed as dietary supplements. The proposed measures would authorize federal seizures of illicit products and prohibit debarred individuals from operating within the supplement industry.
