Congress Proposes Major Expansion of California Wilderness and Wildfire Defense

Federal lawmakers introduced legislation to designate over one million acres of California wilderness and establish a massive restoration area aimed at wildfire mitigation. The bills also propose new scenic river protections and the creation of the Bigfoot National Recreation Trail.
