Key Points

• This bill stops the Air Force from retiring the A-10 Warthog attack plane until at least 2033. It requires the military to keep at least 126 of these planes ready for action. It requires the Air Force to keep training at least 14 new A-10 pilots every year. It also brings back the A-10 demonstration team to perform at airshows for the country's 250th birthday.
• The Air Force must also look into using new technology like artificial intelligence and self-flying drones to help with the A-10's missions. This part of the plan encourages the military to work with small tech companies to find faster and cheaper ways to modernize how we protect soldiers on the battlefield.
