Creates a new Veterans Affairs program to help employers find veterans and soon-to-separate service members who want jobs.
Participation is optional: veterans and eligible active-duty members must choose to join before their info is shared.
Employers approved by Veterans Affairs could search a database that may include discharge date, skills, certifications, job location preferences, and a resume/profile.
Requires Veterans Affairs to work with Defense, Labor, employers, veterans groups, and state workforce agencies to set up and run the program.
