FBI adds alleged $5 million child nutrition fraudster to Most Wanted list
The FBI has added Fahad Mohamed Nur to its Most Wanted Fraudsters list for his alleged role in a scheme to defraud the government. Nur is accused of stealing $5 million from a federal child nutrition program in Minnesota during the COVID-19 pandemic. He has been a fugitive since 2022. Authorities believe the naturalized U.S. citizen has ties to Somalia and may be hiding there. Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche announced that the FBI and the White House Fraud Task Force are working together to find those who exploit federal programs.
